Light gold color. Musk orchard fruit and mineral accents of dried figs. The palate is rich and rich, with flavors of smoky pear and nectarine and a hint of honey. Finished on a mildly spicy note with very good adhesion and a hint of bitter lemon pith. Things are definitely starting to turn around for the bottling industry, which for a while has been lagging behind on vintage offerings from distilleries.
