Dufftown's beast is renowned for its unique meaty flavor
The legendary winery with a strong sense of mystery - Mortlach, because of its unique meaty flavor and mellow taste,
Known as "The Beast of Dufftown" by well-known whiskey expert Dave Broom,
Before the 20th century, it was mostly used as the base liquor for top-grade blended whiskeys, and only a handful of whiskey connoisseurs were lucky enough to experience its aroma.

After repeated distillation like alchemy, it is finally blended in unknown and mysterious proportions before it can be matured in barrels.
This distillation process has been passed down from generation to generation, giving Mortlach 2.81 whiskey a taste that is different from other distilleries in the Speyside area.
It perfectly combines smooth and mellow taste, providing a new choice with rich layers and unique flavor for consumers who want to try whiskey.

Mortlach 2.81 was born in the first legal whiskey distillery in Dufftown in 1823. It is the most classic and award-winning Scottish single malt whiskey in the area.
Because the 2.81 distillation method used is extremely precise and time-consuming, the output has always been very rare. It lasted for a century after its creation.
Most of the liquor is used as the base for top-grade blended whiskey, with only a very small proportion used to make single malt whisky.
Although the world is deeply interested in its wine-making technology and the flavor of its liquor, it has never been able to gain access to it. Only a handful of top connoisseurs have been lucky enough to get a glimpse of its secrets through its limited-edition wine.
Now through the launch of its new series, such a transcendent and extraordinary 'rich' taste has finally been revealed to the world, allowing more whiskey lovers to enjoy it.

New York’s prosperous economy has created luxury products; at this time, Much 2.81 became the first Scotch whiskey to cross the North Atlantic.
In one fell swoop, it conquered the discerning tastes of the upper-class gentry and became the whiskey of choice among New York connoisseurs.
Now, this legendary incarnation of the 18-year-old York House is back on stage;
Matured in European sherry oak barrels and American bourbon barrels, it has the unique meaty flavor of Muhe.
And the layers are clear and rich; it is an immortal work in the hearts of experts.
