Founded in 1798, Blair Athol is located in the picturesque town of Pitlochry in beautiful Perthshire, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. The water from the Allt Dour Burn creek produces a whiskey with a soft, deep aroma, rich fruity taste and smooth taste.​

This is a rich, rich and spicy 12 year old single malt whiskey. The finish is slightly dry with lots of sherry and a hint of minty herbal notes.​

Aroma: First there are aromas of apricot preserves and brown sugar toffee, then Muscadine grapes and Madeira wine, mixed with sulfur and even tar notes.​

Body: Medium to full-bodied, but not cloying.​

Taste: Rich, full mouthfeel and good balance.​

Finish: After acidity and a dry finish, with a distinct sweetness
