The unique "rich mocha" oak barrel treatment process produces a multi-dimensional whiskey that changes between 4 flavors, sweet, smoky, herbal, spicy..., everything is seamlessly integrated into a fascinating taste experience . With the mystery surrounded by puzzles, this takes Ardbeg to a whole new level.

Aroma: Earthy, dusty and slightly biscuit. The smoke/tar flavor is clear but restrained and balanced by some silky vanilla. It releases a variety of herbal and floral notes - smoky vetiver root, anise, fennel, chrysanthemum and jasmine.

Palate: Spicy and warm on the palate, followed by an explosion of fiery, spicy flavors - chili chocolate, bittersweet mocha, briar, birch tar, black pepper and smoked thistle.

Finish: Smoke/tar notes build to a rich smokiness with an incredible lingering finish of charcoal bitter almonds and molasses.
