Soft smokiness and rich fruity flavors make Jura 18 the top of the Jura range. Aged in bourbon barrels for 18 years and then finished in red wine barrels, this carefully balances the soft smoke of the distillery with the heavier flavors of the barrel.

Aroma: Creamy vanilla yogurt with a hint of vanilla to start. There's a soft mineral aroma underneath, with spiced sweet bread, orange zest, brown sugar and white pepper. Finished with toffee and milk chocolate truffles.

Palate: Soft spices growing through the sponge cake and orchard fruits. The soft tones of barrel char provide a smoky background that builds in flavor over time. Dried fruits, dark chocolate and lemon preserves balance the smoke.

Finish: Caramel notes interspersed with spiced orange peel and chocolate before fading away.
