Aberlour Village is located at the foot of the Benrinnes Mountains in Scotland, surrounded by charming scenery and clear water. In 1862, James Gordon and Peter Weir built a distillery here and named it after the local village name Aberlour. The water we use comes from St. John's Well, which has a history of more than a thousand years. It is also the source of water used by local priests to baptize residents in the Scottish Highlands, because only the purest water can be used as holy water. This kind of natural sacredness is the guarantee of the water source of Arbor whiskey.
Today's Aberlour Distillery has switched to using mountain spring water from the Benrinnes Mountains to brew a golden amber color.
