Kelsey McKechnie, the sixth generation chief blender of The Balvenie, was inspired to come up with the brilliant idea of ​​producing a more fruity and sweet Balvenie whiskey. She shipped new virgin oak barrels from Kentucky and roasted them deeply. After roasting, the original wine aged for 12 years in bourbon barrels is put into it and barreled. The final whiskey has flavors of candied fruits, coconut and vanilla, which is wonderful and full of layers.

Aroma: Some sweet malt, then citrus and oak vanilla, and spicy notes of ginger and cinnamon.

Palate: candied fruit and lemon zest, vanilla toffee and butterscotch, with some brown sugar and oak at the end.

Finish: rich malt and light oak vanilla with a hint of spice.
