Bottega was founded in 1977 by Aldo Bottega, a master winemaker with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, who inherited the passion for the world of wine from his grandfather, a skilled wine merchant of the 1920s. In the late 1970s, the company was a small company operating in the local grappa market. Over the years it has been transformed into one of the first 20 private distilleries and distilleries, becoming the second largest brand in the world in terms of sparkling wine after the well-known Champagne brand.
This Moscato rose sparkling wine was created in the early 1900s by Prof. Luigi Manzoni, director of the Conegliano Wine Academy, in a series of cross-breeding tests that led to the creation of several hybrid varieties, including this Incrocio Manzoni 13.0 .25, a code associated with a specific cataloging system used by the professor in his notes, which is a cross between Raboso Piave and Muscat of Hamburg.
The bright pink bottle is made of a unique glass surface metallization process and belongs entirely to the Bottega sparkling wine series. The label depicts a rose in full bloom, evoking the aroma of wine. The alcohol content is only 7% vol., which makes it especially popular among young people and women.
Aroma: Intense, delicate and refined, characterized by rose aroma, accompanied by fruity notes of cherry, raspberry, ripe citrus and spicy notes of sage.
Taste: Sweet, elegant, harmonious, balanced, long-lasting aroma, freshness due to acidity and tannins, which can compensate for the high sugar content
Pairings: With desserts, pastries, jam and cream pies, fresh and dried fruits
