Tale of Winter is filled with the aromas and flavors of winter, bringing to life the warm comfort Dr. Bill Lumsden felt.

This 13-year-old single malt Scotch whiskey is matured in Marsala grape casks from Sicily.

Fruity aromas with notes of honey, cocoa powder and spices.

Color: Amber

Aroma: Curious and slightly sharp, classic Marsalato notes with slightly oxidized fruit. A hint of orange toffee mixed with fragrant top notes of lavender honey and sweet rose. With the addition of water, some caramelised fruits (oranges and pears) emerge, along with hints of sandalwood, Brazil nuts and a hint of pine sap.

Mouthfeel: Juicy and sticky, but slightly peppery, with a sweet, nutty flavor - cocoa powder, red pepper, Brazil nut toffee and sweet barley malt. Sweet demerara sugar lingers with spicy notes of clove, ginger and cinnamon.

It starts with light fruit and honey, building up to generous amounts of cocoa powder, red pepper flakes and Brazil nut toffee. It ends forever with a mix of cinnamon, ginger and clove.
