Tobermory Distillery targets lovers of sherry casks and releases a variety of sherry casks - including Fino, PedroXimenez, Amontillado, etc. The most popular one currently is the Oloroso sherry cask!

This is a 21-year-old unadulterated single malt whiskey from Torbenmeruis. It was matured in Oloroso sherry casks for three years before bottling, during which time it created rich black fruit and spice notes.

Limited to 7,500 bottles worldwide, it is produced without chilling filtration and without adding caramel.

Aroma: Cloves intertwined with orange peel, dark chocolate, floral vanilla and a bit of oak charcoal.

Palate: prunes and walnuts, followed by rich dark chocolate, nutmeg slowly rises in the back.

Finish: Cinnamon and leather settle slowly in the mouth.
